Resources for Survivors
If you are child marriage survivor or someone facing or fleeing a forced marriage in need of support (or know someone who is) contact the Forced Marriage Initiative at Tahirih Justice Center for direct support and assistance. All of the information you share will be kept confidential and Tahirih can offer you support regardless of your age, race, class, gender identity, immigration status, nationality, sexual orientation, or religion. They will discuss your rights and your options, guide you through steps you can take to keep safe, and help you to find resources and support, including emergency shelter, legal services, counseling, and other forms of assistance and survivor connections.
